Rick Ellis, president of the Alcona Business Association (ABA), promises there will be untold treasures to be discovered at the ABA’s second annual Alcona’s Largest Garage sale taking place on Saturday, May 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crossroads Plaza on Innisfil Beach Road. A variety of vendors have paid $25 each to set up tables offering a plethora of offerings, including electronics. The money raised from the table rentals will go towards the Streetscape initiative, a beautification project, which is part of the revitalization of Innisfil Beach Road in the Alcona community. Last year, the event raised $1,300 that was donated to the new recreation centre fundraising team.
