Dozens of Innisfil firefighters responded to an blaze on Thursday, July 2 at 2011 Innisfil Beach Road east of Yonge Street. A metal shed was engulfed with flames and completely destroyed. Mike Symes, fire prevention officer for Innisfil Fire and Rescue said the shed, on the property of Harry and Willy Eisses, was used to store equipment. There were no injuries reported. At one point, two pumper trucks and two water trucks were employed to bring the fire under control. Fire chief Scott Griffith said an investigation as to the cause of the fire is in its preliminary stages.
