Heritage house will be missed

My view of my world has changed.
I can no longer see the beautiful old stone house up the road while looking out my kitchen window. It was demolished two weeks ago. I hope the same fate doesn’t happen to the other old house.
I know some people don’t care about old houses, but these houses hold a significant amount of history for our community.
I think that Trinity Development Corp should either use the Detric/McConkey house in the building plans or move it so it can be used as a museum showcasing Innisfil’s heritage and history.
As I understand, the old stone house will be smack dab in the middle of a parking lot. Remember it’s us kids that will live here when we are older.
