The driver of this Honda Element went to hospital with minor injuries Saturday morning after his vehicle was t-boned in the intersection of Innisfil Beach Road and Sideroad 5.

The driver or Dodge pick-up truck was charged with failing to stop for a red light after he T-boned a Honda Element in the intersection of Innisfil Beach Road and Sideroad 5 Saturday morning.
Both drivers were taken to Royal Victoria Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
The vehicles spun out of control and struck a traffic light post on the northwest corner, sending it crashing to the ground.
According to South Simcoe Police, the westbound pick-up truck struck the Honda at about 8:30 a.m. as it was travelling north through the intersection.
Both vehicles were destroyed in the collision, police say.
