Georgian Bay Football officials are looking for local residents to referee high school and youth football games for the upcoming season.

With the growth of the sport in South Simcoe, the association was hoping to also increase the number of local officials.

Experience is appreciated, but not required. The association pays for all of the training and certification.

Once officials are trained, they will be assigned games during the season, usually three or four Sundays during the summer. Also needed are people available afternoons during the week to referee high school football games.

Officials are paid, starting at $50 per game, plus mileage. Referees must be adults.

For more information call Brian Read at 705-725-7025, ext. 2212.
