Innisfil’s Grady Robson cleaned up at the Royal Winter Fair with his collection of prize winning chickens.

Innisfil was on the map in a number of areas at this year’s Royal Winter Fair.

When asked how many firsts he won at the world renowned event, Grady Robson says he isn’t sure. With 17 excellent avian entries, the Innisfil man has a hard time keeping track.

One of his awards, though, sticks in Robson’s mind. The Lockhart Drive resident won Best Game of Show with a Black Breasted Red Old English Game Bantham.

Another Innisfil star at the 2007 Royal shone in the Horticulture department.
Rob Radcliff of Lefroy wowed fair goers with a number of extraordinary entries like the heaviest onion bulb, which weighed in (in Imperial measure) at 2 pounds, 10 ounces, and a feature class kohlrabi that tipped the scales at over 30 pounds.

Judges from Canada, the United States and Scotland appraised this year's competitors, animals, and produce.
