Developers should pay for crosswalks

Re: Parents Demand Crosswalk, June 18.
 
In the future when planning a community or business development along Innisfil Beach Road, the Town of Innisfil should require the builders to provide lights where they are needed in the vicinity of schools, malls and major retail plazas.
This would not be irregular or a burden to developers. The burden in not asking for these falls back on the taxpayers who now have to raise funds … how extraordinary!
