The Stroud liquor store was burglarized early this morning — the second break-in at the Glenn Avenue LCBO outlet in eight days.
In a typical ‘smash ‘n’ grab’, thieves broke the glass in the front door, dashed inside and stole several bottles of liquor.
South Simcoe Police responded to a burglar alarm at about 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, but the culprits were nowhere in sight when officers arrived.
Anyone with information regarding this occurrence is
asked to call South Simcoe Police at 705-436-2141 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or leave an anonymous tip at  www.1800222tips.com.
